Job Summary

The Ambulatory Nurse Anesthetist is a key member of our surgical team, responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients in our outpatient setting. As a CRNA, you will work closely with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing outpatient procedures
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia plans
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments
  • Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patient responses
  • Manage anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and a graduate of an AANA-accredited program for Nurse Anesthetist
  • Current license in Minnesota to practice as a Registered Nurse; Registered Nurse license in the State of Wisconsin if assigned to Anesthesia Outreach
  • Must complete and pass a qualifying examination/certification as CRNA within one (1) year of hire
  • BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network
  • ACLS and PALS certifications upon hire

  • Knowledgeable in anesthesia machines
  • Ability to communicate orally and written
  • Maintain good physical and mental health
  • Maintain professional quality and appearance
  • Punctuality
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional exposure to laser vision/vision screening and moderate noise levels. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and sit for extended periods is also required.
