Overview:
  • The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in facilitating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, generating financial reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures. This individual should possess a background in public accounting and hold a CPA designation or be actively pursuing it. Collaboration across various departments within the organization is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and ensure timely completion of financial reporting tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations and income statement evaluations.
  • Design, implement, and uphold accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures to meet closing requirements while efficiently supporting business growth through collaboration with FP&A, revenue operations, revenue accounting, and operational teams.
  • Manage Partner fees, ACS 606 Commissions, Leases, Accruals, Fixed assets, and Prepaid accounting processes.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across the organization to foster collaboration.
  • Oversee the work of an accounting operations specialist.
  • Work cross-functionally with business partners, including FP&A, to provide financial insights and relevant reporting.
  • Support acquisition integrations as needed.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
  • CPA certification or progress towards CPA is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Experience in public accounting is required.
  • Experience in the technology sector is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and reporting standards is required.
  • Familiarity with accounting for Fixed Assets, Accruals, Prepaids, Leases, and ACS 606 Commissions is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
