Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will assist in overseeing all financial operations within your facility, which includes:
- Cash management and funds disbursement
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Payroll processing
You will also be responsible for preparing financial reports and analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to forecast future financial performance.
Expectations
We anticipate you will:
- Supervise and maintain accurate payroll records to ensure correct wage distribution and proper approval of timesheets.
- Research, compile, and analyze financial data for budget preparation, reports, and various management requests.
- Present financial insights to management and provide recommendations regarding resource allocation, tax strategies, and budget assumptions.
- Manage bank transactions, including deposits and reconciliations.
- Facilitate local purchases and initiate larger requisitions through corporate channels.
- Verify calculations to ensure accuracy in receipts, taxes, discounts, and additional charges.
- Oversee the distribution of payroll checks and reports to staff and management.
- Ensure precise inventory management of all supplies across various departments.
- Lead the clerical staff, including recruitment, performance evaluation, training, and disciplinary actions.
Qualifications
Required Competencies:
We seek candidates with excellent leadership abilities, adaptability, teamwork, and proficiency in relevant software.
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, along with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a finance-related position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated leadership qualities are essential for earning the respect of all team members. A collaborative approach and sound decision-making skills are also required.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves considerable time spent at a desk. Occasionally, you may be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 lbs., bend, reach overhead, operate machinery, climb, walk, and stand.
