About the RoleAs a Pre-Closing Paralegal at AppleOne, you will play a vital part in managing real estate transactions from start to closing preparation. Our team is seeking an experienced professional to support attorneys in this critical role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review title searches and property records to identify any issues or discrepancies requiring resolution before closing.
  • Assist in drafting and preparing closing documents, including deeds, settlement statements, and affidavits, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate the initial stages of the purchase process by obtaining necessary buyer and seller information, confirming transaction details, and coordinating next steps.
  • Schedule and coordinate closing appointments with clients, buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents.
  • Conduct due diligence, including reviewing liens, judgments, or encumbrances that could affect the transaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each transaction using case management software and filing systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal in real estate law or related fields.
  • Knowledge of real estate transaction processes, title searches, and closing documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with case management software.
