Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional faculty member to join our Department of Neurology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. The successful candidate will develop a robust clinical practice in Pediatric Neurology and contribute to the academic environment as a part of a treatment team of physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and nurses.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows in Pediatric Neurology.
  • Developing and maintaining a clinical practice in Pediatric Neurology, including attending duties in the pediatric neurology clinic and inpatient services.
  • Participating in research activities, including developing an independent, extramurally funded research program.
  • Engaging in professional, public, and university service, as well as administrative and committee work.
Qualifications

The successful candidate must have an MD/DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in Pediatric Neurology. Assistant Professor candidates should have early-level career experience as a faculty member, while Associate Professor candidates should have at least five years of experience at the rank of Assistant Professor or comparable training and background. Professor candidates should have at least five years of experience at the rank of Associate Professor or comparable training and background.
