Position Overview

Role Summary:
The Fisher Island Community Association is seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of a Shuttle Driver. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth transportation of community members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport employees, residents, and visitors to various locations.
  • Adhere to the scheduled timetable for shuttle stops.
  • Ensure the shuttle vehicle is fueled and properly serviced, including checking oil and fluid levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle at all times.
  • Exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor while interacting with passengers.
  • Report any vehicle damages, accidents, or issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Operate the shuttle in compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, along with relevant work experience.
  • Possession of a valid CDL Driver License.
  • C-Class Driver License with "P" (Passenger Endorsement) is required.
  • Demonstrated good driving history.
  • Able to accommodate various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Experience:

  • Prior experience operating a motor vehicle is essential.

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor work setting with a focus on public transportation.

This is a full-time position that requires in-person attendance.
