Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting in the diagnosis of disease and/or injury by performing a variety of radiographic procedures under the general supervision of a departmental supervisor and Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures in one or more of the following sub-specialties: Computerized Tomography (CT), Mammography, Angiography/Interventional, or Ultrasound (Sonography)
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of procedures and patient information
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification in Radiologic Technology
  • Experience in radiographic procedures, preferably in a hospital or medical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
