Job Summary
Precision Orthopedics and Sports Medicine LLC is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients
- Position patients correctly for imaging procedures
- Follow proper radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Assist physicians with imaging procedures and provide support as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- 1 year of experience in radiologic technology or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions
- Work in a clinical setting with frequent exposure to radiation
- Stand for long periods and lift patients as needed
- Work in a team environment with frequent communication with physicians and other staff members
