Job Overview

The Supported Living Assistant role at Clearbrook involves providing essential support and services to clients with developmental disabilities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

About the Position

This is a part-time opportunity offering approximately 6-8 hours per week. The ideal candidate will work directly with the client in their home environment, offering personalized care and support to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to the client both at home and during community activities.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including wheelchair assistance and lifting, ensuring the client's comfort and safety.
  • Create a supportive and comfortable environment, fostering independence and promoting a positive quality of life.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with vehicle insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to working with individuals with unique needs.
