Job Overview

Lifestream Health Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Support Professional to join our team. As a Medical Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the growth of our practice.


Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Duties:
    • Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure a smooth patient flow.
    • Accurately measure vital signs, including weight and blood pressure.
    • Review and document patient medical histories.
    • Reconcile patient medication and maintain accurate records.
    • Document patient interactions in the Electronic Medical Record.
    • Locate and retrieve lab and imaging reports for patient records.
    • Triage and process patient messages to physicians.
    • Stock exam rooms with medical supplies and forms.

  • Clerical Duties:
    • Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service.
    • Check out patients after appointments and ensure a seamless experience.
    • Schedule appointments and manage the provider's schedule.
    • Reschedule patients who missed their appointments.
    • Assist with optimizing the provider's schedule and adapt to walk-in appointments.

Requirements:

  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with referring providers in a timely manner.
  • Pain management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with worker's comp and auto accidents is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some Fridays.
  • Medical Assistant Certification is preferred but not required.
  • EMR experience is a plus.
