Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Pueblo, Colorado. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing routine and specialized nursing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical providers to support patient care and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Assist with patient education, discharge planning, and post-acute care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Colorado.
  • Minimum of 400 clock hours of faculty-planned clinical experience and guided learning activities.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
  • Practical Nurse License (Colorado) and I.V. therapy certification may be required for some positions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six (6) months of experience with adults, pediatrics, and/or trauma.
  • BLS preferred.
