About the Position

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for scans, operating MRI equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and any issues that arise during procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and quality care
Requirements
  • Current ARRT certification in MRI
  • State license to practice as a Radiology Technologist in Texas
  • Experience working with GE and Siemens MRI equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
