A dedicated Accounting Professional is sought for a reputable organization focused on health and wellness. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire role that entails overseeing daily financial operations and managing transactions, including bank reconciliations, payment preparations, and payroll management. Effective communication skills are essential for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders. Initially, the position requires on-site presence, with a potential transition to a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise cash flow management, bill payments, and financial reporting.
- Utilize QuickBooks for managing financial transactions.
- Conduct monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Oversee reconciliation of equipment, service costs, and payroll.
- Direct daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable and purchasing functions.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure accurate transaction coding.
- Coordinate and execute audits.
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns.
- Generate payroll and staff reports for analytical purposes.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on payroll and production reporting.
- Support various business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a comparable role.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software.
- Strong skills in MS Excel.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Benefits

Compensation
Hourly pay rate ranges from $32 to $38, translating to an annual salary of $66,560 to $80,000.
Compliance Requirements
Candidates must successfully pass a thorough drug screening and criminal background check, provide at least two supervisory references, and present documentation verifying eligibility to work in the USA. Additional compliance factors may apply based on the position.
