Material Procurement Specialist

Red Leaf Developments is seeking an experienced and skilled Material Procurement / Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining budgets, analyzing materials, and researching vendors to ensure our Production department has adequate access to the materials they need.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of supply chain and budgeting processes. If you have a proven track record of success in purchasing and procurement, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Research and evaluate potential vendors to ensure the best possible prices and services
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with suppliers
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Review the quality of purchased products and maintain updated records of purchases
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses and recommendations for improvement
- Proven work experience as a Materials Manager or similar role
- Good knowledge of cost codes, change orders, and supply chain procedures
- Hands-on experience with MRP and ERP software preferred
- Solid analytical skills and ability to develop and maintain Bill of Materials
- Computer savvy with proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- BSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field
- $60-70k plus bonus
