Your main responsibility will be to assist the Program Management Teams by leveraging your comprehensive understanding of program phases and milestones.

Key responsibilities include the creation, oversight, and continual refinement of intricate program schedules, which encompass resource allocation and performance analysis.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and reporting systems as the organization enhances its Program Planning and Scheduling practices for improved standardization and resource management across the enterprise.

This position also plays a crucial role in supporting various programs by formulating plans and synthesizing inputs from multiple projects.

Qualified individuals will collaborate with all facets of the program team to ensure the ongoing maintenance and accuracy of the program schedules.


Essential Functions:


Collaborate with the Program Management Office to devise tools and techniques for constructing standardized Integrated Master Schedules that incorporate essential phases and checkpoints, contractual data requirements, detailed materials, connections to a standardized work breakdown structure, resource allocation, and the ability to conduct earned value analysis on both development and production programs.

Conduct regular evaluations of program schedules to assess resource requirements across the organization by integrating all program timelines.

Develop integrated master schedules utilizing Statements of Work (SOW) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
Assist in schedule audits to confirm that schedules are accurately maintained and updated by project teams.

Review and analyze subcontractor schedules, linking subordinate timelines to the primary project schedule; assess schedules for critical path identification and inform management of any changes to critical path and milestone achievement forecasts.

Coordinate with Control Account Managers (CAM) and cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) members in the development, upkeep, and analysis of work package schedules.

Gather and analyze data and status updates from relevant organizations to prepare, update, and distribute regular project status reports.
Conduct audits of schedules to evaluate performance against plans and support corrective actions to enhance scheduling and planning methodologies.

Work collaboratively within a team environment to provide insights into scheduling trends and best practices, assisting program teams in creating realistic program timelines.

Perform Monte Carlo Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) on key programs as part of standard operational procedures.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 13 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience in Project Scheduling and control is essential, with MS Project Server being the primary tool utilized.
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices, Project Planning/Coordination, and Production Scheduling is required.
Ability to manage tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects in an organized manner is necessary.
Previous experience in engineering and operations/manufacturing environments is preferred, particularly within the Military contractor/Aerospace & Defense sectors.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
Knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and practices, as well as risk management concepts related to master schedules, is required.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in both support and mentoring capacities is crucial.
Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
Familiarity with DoD EVMS Guidelines (ANSI-748C), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) is beneficial.
This role necessitates daily proficiency in various software applications, including Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and Microsoft Project. Therefore, strong PC skills are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital.

Qualified candidates should possess a solid understanding of MRP and scheduling principles, along with a working knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and production processes.

In-depth knowledge of Product Life Cycle and advanced scheduling analysis experience is preferred.
