At Excelsia Injury Care, we provide comprehensive management services to a network of healthcare companies across Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. • Work on a computer to process and manage medical claims
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) to maintain accurate patient information
• Scan and upload documents, as well as correspond with attorneys and their staff
• Print and mail claims and corresponding notes to insurance companies
• Work with workers' compensation denials and accounts receivable follow-up
• Knowledge of PA Workers' Comp Law and understanding of WCAIS and Bureau documents
• Answer emails and make/answer phone calls
• Multi-task and perform other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Knowledge of insurance plans, workers' compensation, and personal injury
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of computer applications, including Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Confidence in working independently
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM
• Working knowledge of insurance guidelines and billing and collection procedures
• Ability to effectively interact with doctors, attorneys, patients, and co-workers
