Contract Duration: 12 Months (with potential for extension)

Work Arrangement: Onsite/Hybrid

Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000 annually

Position Title: Mainframe Developer

Core Competencies: Mainframe Technologies

Role Summary: The ideal candidate for the Mainframe Developer position should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.

Required Expertise and Skills:

  • Over 10 years of experience in developing critical enterprise applications
  • Proficient in Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM
  • Capable of conducting in-depth analysis for maintenance and enhancement projects in both batch and online settings
  • Experience in deploying and supporting software releases in production environments
  • Strong focus on data security to protect client information
  • Meticulous in unit, functional, and regression testing
  • Experience in writing COBOL/Native stored procedures is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Distributed Technologies is a plus (willingness to learn is encouraged)
  • Ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions for exceptional user experiences
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills along with effective communication abilities
  • Adaptability to shift focus to meet urgent client needs
  • A growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing with team members

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirement: Minimum of 10 years in a relevant role.
