Job Title: Financial Accountant

At GP Fund Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day accounting and finance tasks to support our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform treasury functions, including reconciliation of bank accounts and processing of disbursements.
  • Prepare and submit journal entries into cloud-based industry-specific accounting software.
  • Prepare assigned workpapers for fund products within the quarterly reporting cycle.
  • Prepare and review mail merge procedures.
  • Prepare GAAP financial statements.
  • Manage multiple ad-hoc investor inquiries.
  • Handle preparation and/or review of capital activity, including capital calls, allocations, and distributions.
  • Analyze and enact Partnership Agreements and related organizational documents.
  • Analyze cash composition and forecasting of quarterly expenses.
  • Maintenance and review of SOC-1 internal control procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with software related products, such as Microsoft software programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification.
  • Private fund administration experience.
