Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during MRI procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
Requirements
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACL), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP), Chemotherapy (CHEMO), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), and Tech Cert Verification - National
  • State license for CT and RI (can be pending while starting)
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including every other weekend and possible holidays
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The MRI Technologist will be working in a hospital setting, interacting with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
