Job Description

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel position in Connecticut.

Job Summary

We are looking for a licensed MRI Technologist with a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address any concerns they may have.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist, with a strong background in MRI procedures.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
