Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel position in Connecticut.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a licensed MRI Technologist with a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
- Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address any concerns they may have.
- Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
- Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
- Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist, with a strong background in MRI procedures.
- License in the required state.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
