We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse to join our team at PRN Healthcare Services. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Current RN license in the state of Iowa.
- 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
