Job Title: Traveling Certified Labor & Delivery Nurse



We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Traveling Certified Labor & Delivery Nurse to join our team in West Des Moines, IA. Salary Range: $2091 - $2155 per week



Based on our estimates, the salary for this position is between $2091 and $2155 per week, taking into account the location and industry standards. This compensation package is designed to recognize the value and expertise of our healthcare professionals.



Job Description



We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in the field. As a Traveling Certified Labor & Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy. Your duties will include:





  • Providing and directing patient care for a group of patients

  • Relating effectively with other shifts/departments for optimal continuity of care

  • Providing clinical supervision for entry-level nurses and assisting in their development

  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating the nursing plan of care

  • Assessing patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education

  • Working collaboratively with medical staff to provide quality care in a compassionate and professional manner

  • Perform routine duties independent of supervision but consults with others as required

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN (Certified Labor & Delivery RN)
