Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team at Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated, providing exceptional patient care and services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential health risks, and provide education to patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, promoting a positive and compassionate care environment.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS).
  • Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation, which includes age and population-specific skills for the area of practice.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, with full range of body motion to pass basic fitness tests.
