Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our Consultation Liaison Service at Kings County Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide psychiatric consultations to patients admitted to the emergency departments and inpatient services, and work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric consultations to patients and their families
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Supervise residents, fellows, and medical students rotating on the Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison service
  • Participate in psychiatry CL team meetings and adhere to psychiatry CL protocols
  • Collaborate with Behavioral Health leadership to foster inter-departmental collaboration
Qualifications
  • Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry
  • License to practice medicine in the State of New York
