JOB SUMMARY
This role is accountable for the overall custodial maintenance of the facility and sanitation processes within the warehouse, operating under general oversight.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Execute all custodial tasks throughout the facility, including dusting, sweeping, washing, wiping, scrubbing, shoveling, and mopping.
2. Climb ladders as necessary to complete these tasks.
3. Ensure sanitary conditions by collecting and disposing of all warehouse and facility waste daily and addressing any spills promptly.
4. Maintain cleanliness in coolers and dry warehouse areas, including sweeping and mopping.
5. Use power equipment for floor care in designated areas.
6. Regularly maintain parking lots and front sidewalks to uphold appearance.
7. Remove any debris that could damage property (e.g., nails and glass).
8. Complete daily sanitation logs to document sanitation activities.
9. Support recycling initiatives by transporting materials to balers and managing bailing processes.
10. Dust and vacuum warehouse racks and remove cobwebs to maintain hygiene.
11. Clean restrooms as needed, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and stocked.
12. Collaborate with supervisors to minimize product loss within the warehouse.
13. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of assigned work areas and travel aisles.
14. Report any unresolvable safety issues to the supervisor immediately.
15. Adhere to all safety regulations to minimize accidents and injuries.
16. Operate material handling equipment safely and ensure it is maintained and clean.
17. Comply with all company policies and applicable laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 1-year warehouse-related experience and/or training.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and able to work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence, as well as communicate effectively with co-workers.
Mathematical Skills: Capable of performing basic arithmetic operations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and deal with standardized situations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a full-time position with varying schedules that may include shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The job is primarily performed in a warehouse environment, with exposure to fast-moving equipment and varying temperature conditions.
