Perioperative Assistant

Catholic Health Service is seeking a skilled Perioperative Assistant to join our team. As a Perioperative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the professional staff in the Operating Rooms to facilitate surgical cases by maintaining supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate all necessary services for repairs with ANCC.
- Assist the nursing personnel with surgical instrumentation and the disinfection and sterilization of equipment and instruments.
- Perform surgical case picks for same day and following day cases; assist in preparing the surgical patient in the Holding Room and care of the post-operative patient in the PACU.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous hospital experience.
- Must be physically able to lift and transfer Patients/equipment.
- BLS or CPR/AED training required.
