Compensation: $100,000-$135,000 with performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electromechanical systems for the automation of industrial processes.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive mechanical design documentation for components, assemblies, and final products.
  • Analyze and refine production layouts and material handling strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Propose and execute design or process modifications to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and performance.
  • Assess new product designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency, initiating necessary revisions prior to production approval.
  • Implement and validate design solutions, ensuring compliance with performance and quality benchmarks.
  • Compile and disseminate engineering reports that detail design specifications and testing outcomes.
  • Provide cost assessments for process enhancements, new product introductions, and significant modifications.
  • Identify and acquire tools, fixtures, equipment, and training essential for production and testing.
  • Explore and adopt innovative process control strategies, machine tool advancements, and facility layout enhancements to boost production efficiency.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, recommend new manufacturing techniques, and provide guidance on equipment investments.
  • Champion quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives for assigned products, sharing accountability for departmental objectives.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, lower costs, and improve product quality.
