Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Performance Automation Specialist to join our team at Vodastra. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in test design, performance diagnostics, performance architecture design, performance tuning, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and software development.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with JMeter test scripting and execution for protocols like HTTP/HTTP SOAP/XML, Siebel, Oracle Apps, Beanshell, and Java. They will also have experience in creating performance engineering strategies, assessing and defining non-functional requirements, designing workload models by analyzing production data, and developing performance testing frameworks.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing performance testing strategies
  • Developing and maintaining performance testing frameworks
  • Collaborating with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimization engineering solutions
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in test design, performance diagnostics, performance architecture design, performance tuning, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and software development
  • Hands-on experience with JMeter test scripting and execution for protocols like HTTP/HTTP SOAP/XML, Siebel, Oracle Apps, Beanshell, and Java
  • Experience in creating performance engineering strategies, assessing and defining non-functional requirements, designing workload models by analyzing production data
  • Development skills in Java/J2EE frameworks, preferably 2+ years
  • Experience in a Scaled Agile environment
  • Strong leadership, coordination, communication, analytical, and reporting skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with performance diagnostics, performance architecture design, performance tuning, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and/or software development in a n-tier environment
  • Knowledge of APM tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Oracle OEM, along with clustering, high availability, and monitoring
  • Excellent knowledge in scripting languages like JavaScript, PERL, Python, and UNIX shell
  • Knowledge about release orchestration and tools like Xebia Labs, Electric Cloud, etc.
