Position Summary

Incentive for Commitment Available

The Nursing Assistant Manager will be responsible for planning, delivering, supervising, and documenting professional nursing care in alignment with physician directives and established protocols. This role requires the application of professional nursing judgment to tailor care plans based on thorough assessments of patient needs and responses to treatment. Responsibilities include delegating tasks and overseeing the activities of unlicensed personnel, ensuring a safe and effective care environment, and leading licensed practical nurses and support staff in patient care delivery. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. The Nursing Assistant Manager will also support the Nurse Manager in fostering a culture of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or eligibility to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
Additional Information
  • Supervises acute care units.
  • Full-time position: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week.
  • Work schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, with bi-weekly on-call rotation alongside the nurse manager, including potential coverage for nights and weekends as required.
