Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Swedish Edmonds. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including automated and manual testing procedures.
  • Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infectious control standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely test results.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Provide training and guidance to laboratory staff on new procedures and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related discipline.
  • National Medical Laboratory Scientist certification or equivalent.
  • 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
