Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Providence Swedish. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing accurate and timely assays on patient samples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of automated and manual testing procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infectious control standards.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a related discipline.
  • Within 6 months of hire, obtain National Medical Laboratory Scientist certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology or a similar organization.
