Job Summary:

The Clinical Assistant will be responsible for assisting clinicians in a fast-paced environment, including obtaining and recording patient vital signs, rooming patients, and assisting clinicians during examinations. Additionally, the Clinical Assistant will collect, verify, and record required information according to established procedures and instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clinicians in a fast-paced environment, including obtaining and recording patient vital signs, rooming patients, and assisting clinicians during examinations.
  • Collect, verify, and record required information according to established procedures and instructions.
  • Identify and report unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Physician.
  • Complete and document patient-related prescreening/postoperative telephone calls.
  • Provide general support for clinical operations, including stocking, maintaining, and ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area, ensuring area is compliant with regulatory and hospital policies.
  • Transport patients, supplies, and equipment as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience or related healthcare experience.
  • Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
  • A HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to work with computer systems.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
