Job Summary:

Natural Grocers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our front-end operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cash registers, training and directing our cashiers, and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the cashiers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient cash handling.
  • Complete daily sales reports and cashier closeout responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Issue and verify cash drawers, maintaining a secure and organized cash handling process.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure that the front-end area is well-maintained and fully stocked, meeting the high standards of Natural Grocers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cash handling or supervisory role, preferably in a retail or grocery environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
