Join Our Team as a Private Duty Nurse LPN

Aveanna Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to our patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced LPN to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to our patients in their homes. This includes administering medications, performing treatments, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Provide health promotion, teaching, and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An active, unencumbered LPN license in the state where you will practice
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • A TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • Six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
