Job Summary

ServiceMaster CDR is seeking a highly skilled Water Restoration Technician to join our team. As a key member of our disaster recovery team, you will be responsible for performing water mitigation services to homes and businesses, restoring them to a safe condition necessary for repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and initiate water mitigation services according to IICRC and ServiceMaster standards
  • Perform water extraction, steam cleaning, demolition, and mold remediation
  • Set up and monitor professional drying equipment
  • Work closely with Lead Technicians to complete scheduled losses
  • Accurately document job details in our management software
  • Communicate effectively with peers, homeowners, office staff, and managers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • No experience necessary; training will be provided
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and technology
  • IICRC certifications a plus
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends
  • Ability to follow direction and take initiative
  • Must pass a FIT Test and wear a respirator when needed
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Physical job requiring work in varying temperatures and environments
