Role Overview

The Operations Support Specialist is a pivotal contributor to AWP's expansion, assisting the Operations team with various projects and responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to, systems oversight, report creation, coordinating repairs and maintenance, handling communications, and engaging with customers to ensure their satisfaction. The ideal candidate will excel at managing multiple tasks efficiently, with a strong emphasis on timeliness, responsiveness, diplomacy, sound judgment, and discretion when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Generate daily reports for the operations team.
  • Monitor attendance and maintain accurate documentation in the personnel system.
  • Support facility leadership in creating and distributing schedules.
  • Validate daily job workflows.
  • Update personnel records, including new hires and terminations.
  • Ensure team member certifications are current and compliant.
  • Process and submit weekly payroll.
  • Provide professional customer service to clients and team members.
  • Oversee vehicle inspections and communicate maintenance needs to facility leadership.
  • Maintain accurate equipment and asset information in the system.
  • Create purchase orders for rentals and vendor services.
  • Order necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and other facility supplies.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and calls, both digital and in-person.
  • Monitor submissions related to safety reporting.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in office administration.
  • Familiarity with local wage and hour regulations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to follow directions.
  • Proficient in using technology for document management, reporting, and editing.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret written information.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and confident in working independently while fostering teamwork.
  • Experience in traffic control and safety devices is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
