We are seeking a highly skilled Master Scheduler to join our Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing complex project schedules using project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule Development and Management: Develop, maintain, and manage complex project schedules using project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Schedule Risk Assessment: Conduct Schedule Risk Assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
- Critical Path Management: Implement Critical Path Management (CPM) to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project teams to understand work plans and ensure the accuracy of project schedules. Track project milestones and deliverables, and provide regular status updates to project teams and stakeholders.
- Analysis and Problem-Solving: Analyze project control trends to identify issues and risks, and develop mitigation strategies. Provide guidance and expertise to project teams on schedule management and CPM.
- Resource Allocation: Work closely with project managers to develop and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules of projects using MS Project 2010.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Master Scheduler in the engineering industry.
- Knowledge and Skills: Expert knowledge of Schedule Risk Assessments and Critical Path Management (CPM). Proven experience as a Scheduler and Master Scheduler. Must have a DoD Clearance and Q Clearance. Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, or other project management tools.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
