As a Graduate Practical Nurse, you will work under the supervision of an experienced Pennsylvania registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a home health setting.
Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, following established protocols and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Document patient progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Graduate of an approved nursing education program in Pennsylvania or any other state of the United States.
- Temporary Practice Permit issued by the Board of Nursing.
- Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits.
