Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Proven experience as a Senior Security Analyst in Facility Security
Over 10 years of professional experience in Facility and Personnel Security within a Department of Defense context
Extensive proficiency with the Defense Information Security System (DISS)
Strong analytical skills to assess security vulnerabilities related to access approvals or denials
Thorough understanding of security principles, concepts, and methodologies
Knowledge of administrative regulations and sanctions regarding security compliance
Ability to manage and organize extensive data, files, tasks, and schedules
Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Capable of conducting interviews and security briefings, and preparing concise analyses and recommendations
Highly motivated and professional, adept at managing a demanding workload while prioritizing tasks
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with excellent multi-tasking skills
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a support to the Government Personnel Security Officer for the Department of Defense client
Execute all necessary duties to secure and maintain accreditations for facility spaces
Interpret and apply government security regulations
Establish control procedures for sensitive information to ensure regulatory compliance
Complete and submit reports to government agencies as required
Facilitate the security clearance process for Department of Defense personnel
Conduct briefings and debriefings for Department of Defense staff
Ensure that all personnel are informed of the conditions for maintaining security clearances
Deliver security briefings and presentations mandated by the Department of Defense client
Coordinate with government agencies regarding security clearances and classified visits
Designate appropriate controls for handling classified documents and hardware
Oversee all actions related to CAC issuance
Advise Department of Defense personnel on Information Systems Security requirements
Review classification specifications for contracts and subcontracts as necessary
