About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to fill a Clinical Care Coordinator position in our medical-surgical unit. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units.

  • You will monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques. You will also communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Two years of recent Step Down experience.
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
