Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Unit Clerk to join our team at Catholic Health Initiatives. As a Unit Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patients' personal hygiene and assist with activities of daily living, including feeding, ambulating, and positioning patients.
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to St. Alexius Medical Center policies and regulated by governing agency regulations.
  • Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Answer patients' call lights, address and maintain a safe clean environment.
  • Prepare admit and discharge patient charts.
  • Record information, such as physicians' orders and instructions, dietary requirements, and medication information, on patient plan of care.
Qualifications
  • High school student, graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be listed on a Nurse Assistant Registry operated by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
  • No previous experience necessary, but preferred hospital experience, aide experience or satisfaction completion of certification/training program.
