About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our executive management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support our growth and profitability goals.
  • Prepare and present detailed monthly financial reports to senior management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Coordinate with various departments to develop financial models for new projects, assessing profitability and risk.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
  • Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
  • Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments.
  • Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Controller role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
  • Solid experience in Commercial Real Estate and Financial Accounting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop financial models, interpret data, and provide financial analysis.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial managers.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
