Position Overview:
As a dedicated Breast Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the early detection and management of breast health issues. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care and the overall mission of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mammography examinations while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging techniques to capture high-quality radiographic images.
  • Monitor and document patient data accurately.
  • Perform routine quality assurance checks on mammography equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining accreditation standards and documentation.
  • Respond to emergency calls and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Promote professional development through continuous education and mentorship of junior staff.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • A valid license or temporary license from the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Certification as a Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT-R) and Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M).

Preferred Experience:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:
  • Previous experience in a mammography setting.
  • Background in an Outpatient Imaging Center.
