Key Responsibilities:

  • Train staff, implement safety protocols, monitor work areas for safety enhancements, and learn investigative techniques.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and basic quality tools.
  • Oversee procedures, manage equipment, and optimize production efficiency.
  • Understand factory operations, enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and review standard reporting.
  • Develop, mentor, guide, and assign tasks to employees.
  • Administer labor agreements in unionized environments.
  • Conduct personal inspections of workforce, material usage, and production processes.
  • Analyze operational reports.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Strong technical and mechanical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and computer applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret blueprints and technical descriptions.
