Saia LTL Freight is seeking experienced Class A Line Haul Drivers to operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances, between company terminals or yards, and customer facilities or work sites. Our drivers enjoy a high level of job security, with about 80% of our line haul drivers having set runs and being home most days of the week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate tractor-trailer safely within DOT regulations, conducting thorough pre and post trip inspections to ensure equipment is ready to go and properly placarded.
  • Drop, hook, and switch equipment, including attaching and detaching converter gear and trailers.
  • Verify loads against shipping papers, noting any overages, shortages, or damages.
  • Provide professional representation of the company when interacting with public safety officials and the general public.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Current Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples, Hazmat, and Tankers endorsements
