Job Title: 1st Shift Truck Fleet Dispatcher

Our company, iMPact Business Group, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced 1st Shift Truck Fleet Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer delivery schedules and work with cross-functional teams to optimize routes and load density goals.
  • Assign daily work assignments and hold associates accountable for performing tasks in accordance with labor contracts.
  • Communicate with drivers and customers regarding concerns, delays, and changes, and resolve issues as necessary.
  • Document associate activities and participate in the progressive discipline process as needed.
  • Ensure daily and weekly reports are completed on time.
  • Monitor driver logs for compliance with break times and partner with cross-functional teams on DOT compliance.
  • Sort and route customer loads, including same-day and next-day delivery, as well as backhauls through our routing and scheduling software system.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in dispatch or transportation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, Supply Chain tracking software, and data management tools.
