Insurance Broker for Wholesale Markets

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Excess & Surplus Broker to join our team at Novatae Risk Group. As a Wholesale Insurance Brokerage Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of submissions, presenting accounts to insurance carriers, and marketing new and renewal business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit applications and supporting documents to insurance carriers.
- Present accounts to insurance carriers and negotiate compelling programs.
- Market new and renewal business in conjunction with designated sales teams.
- Analyze current programs and collect necessary information.
- Order underwriting reports as needed and ensure timely quote delivery.
- Solicit new business through sales and marketing techniques and establish relationships.
- Coordinate administrative workflows with support teams to respond to service issues.
- Identify opportunities for growth and cultivate new markets.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including coverages, rating, and terminology.
- Experience in Wholesale Broker or MGA, with a four-year college degree preferred.
- Skilled in business writing and situation analysis, with a strong sales drive and ability to establish new relationships.
- Energetic and self-motivated, with a goal-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a team environment.
