Roxborough Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our cardiovascular lab, you will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing their psychosocial, physical, and general needs in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, communicating effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Assist with the maintenance of equipment and inventory, ensuring the Cardiovascular Laboratory team has the necessary supplies and resources.
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data, recording patients' conditions continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and care.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required; Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher preferred.
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
