Responsibilities

As a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist, you will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.

You will communicate with physicians continuously and as needed about patient condition, assist with the maintenance of equipment and inventory, and assess procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.

You will also obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN), an active state Registered Nursing (RN) License, and current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

You will also require one (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area.
