Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Data Analyst to join our team at HP Development Company, L.P. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, marketing, and statistics, with the ability to extract key insights from large datasets and present recommendations to the Marketing and Media teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and clean large volumes of data to extract key insights
  • Provide recommendations to the Marketing and Media teams to optimize advertising spend
  • Supports formalization of goal setting and success measurement process for campaigns and digital projects
  • Utilizes and optimizes marketing dashboards and data models
  • Presents recommendations based on data analyses
  • Supports data integrity, data accuracy, and testing processes
  • Partners with internal and vendor support teams to report and resolve data/campaign discrepancies
  • Advocates for data and analytics needs in markets and countries
Requirements
  • Strong command of Python, R, SAS, or Scala
  • Strong experience using statistics, mathematics, algorithms, and programming languages to solve big data challenges
  • Experience in marketing/sales strategies, analyzing data, and identifying insights to optimize and develop campaigns
  • Good technical skills and understanding of interpreting data and analysis for solving business problems
  • Strong SQL experience working with large customer and transactional databases
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills with the ability to manipulate data in Excel
  • Experience with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, Datorama)
  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop appropriate analytical models and identify incremental revenue margin/productivity opportunities
Impact/Scope

The Marketing Data Analyst will lead cross-country data-driven actionable planning with a high degree of complexity involved in terms of customer or cross-function touchpoints. The role will manage medium-scale cross-function/cross-country marketing investment and programs.

Complexity

The complexity of this role is moderate to high, with some senior management interface and frequent cross-functional/cross-organizational interaction on execution of tactics.

Education & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science, with 5+ years of work experience in a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $79,150 to $121,900 annually, with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
